#9 of 9 hotels in Airport Residential & Airport City by Axel's take. Airport Residential & Airport City is #5 of 7 places to stay in Accra. The best hotels in Airport Residential & Airport City, ranked · Where to stay in Accra

Axel's take: 7.0/10

Helpful staff make this a reasonable short-stay base, but room standards vary. A simple, guesthouse-style 3-star in Accra’s West Airport area, scored for what it is.

Hill View is a simple, guesthouse-style 3-star in Dzorwulu, best considered for a short stay near the airport rather than a hotel-centered holiday. Its strongest asset is the staff: recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise their helpfulness, echoing older Tripadvisor feedback. Free parking, a restaurant and in-room Wi-Fi cover the practical basics. We’d consider it for an uncomplicated stopover with modest expectations.

The catch is consistency. Booking.com’s guest scores are notably weaker than Expedia’s, particularly for cleanliness and facilities. Recent feedback includes worn rooms and an air-conditioning problem, alongside plenty of clean, comfortable stays. Don’t assume an airport shuttle is available, and check whether breakfast is included in your booking. We’d skip it if reliably modern bathrooms and dependable room condition matter more than friendly service.

  • Best for: Short airport-area stays; Travelers comfortable with basic accommodation; Drivers wanting free parking

  • Watch out for: Uneven room condition and maintenance; Airport shuttle not reliably available; Breakfast inclusion varies by booking

  • Location: Dzorwulu base convenient for airport access; better suited to getting around by car than sightseeing on foot.

  • Rooms: Air-conditioned rooms with refrigerators; some recent guests report dated bathrooms or maintenance shortcomings.

  • Cleanliness: Many guests praise clean rooms, but weaker Booking.com scores and some recent complaints suggest uneven standards.

  • Service: Helpful, courteous staff are the clearest recurring strength across guest feedback.

  • Amenities: Listings include a restaurant, bar, gym, free Wi-Fi and free parking; no elevator.

  • Fees and surprises: Breakfast may cost extra; confirm airport transport directly rather than relying on catalog shuttle claims.
