#4 of 7 hotels in Osu & Oxford Street by Axel's take. Osu & Oxford Street is #1 of 7 places to stay in Accra. The best hotels in Osu & Oxford Street, ranked · Where to stay in Accra

Axel's take: 7.8/10

A friendly Osu base where location beats polish a simple 3-star city hotel above a restaurant on Osu’s Oxford Street, scored for what it is.

Frankie’s is a simple 3-star hotel above its restaurant on Oxford Street, and it’s a strong pick if exploring Osu matters more than hotel facilities. Expedia’s recent guests praise the helpful staff, cleanliness and convenient dining; older Tripadvisor reviews broadly agree. The restaurant, bakery and ice-cream parlour make eating easy, with shops and nightlife close by. We’d choose it as a practical city base, not a beach hotel.

Room choice matters: several recent guests describe rooms without an outside view or natural light. Noise reports vary—some find the rooms quiet, while others describe loud nights. There’s no elevator, so stairs are another consideration. Confirm an exterior-facing room and whether breakfast is included before booking. We’d skip it if step-free access or reliably peaceful nights are essential.

  • Best for: travelers exploring Osu; short city stays; visitors who want dining close at hand

  • Watch out for: some rooms lack natural light; variable nighttime noise; stairs and no elevator

  • Location: Central Oxford Street setting for shops, restaurants and nightlife; not beachfront.

  • Rooms: Simple, air-conditioned accommodation; confirm an outside window rather than assuming one.

  • Cleanliness: Generally praised in recent verified stays, though room experiences are not uniformly positive.

  • Service: Friendly, helpful hotel staff are a consistent strength across guest sources.

  • Amenities: Restaurant, bakery, ice-cream parlour, free Wi-Fi and parking; Expedia lists an airport shuttle.

  • Fees and surprises: Breakfast inclusion varies by listing; confirm your package and arrange any airport pickup directly.
