Axel's take: 7.3/10

Handy airport access and welcoming staff, but the rooms need updating. an older 4-star business hotel near Accra’s airport, scored for what it is.

This older 4-star business hotel is a sensible pick for an airport stopover, rather than somewhere to expect polished luxury. Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, while spacious rooms and a generous breakfast earn regular mentions. Best Western confirms complimentary airport transfers and breakfast, making short stays straightforward. The outdoor pool and gym add useful downtime options.

The catch is inconsistent upkeep. Across the review sites, guests describe dated decor, bathroom defects and occasional equipment failures; restaurant service also draws repeated criticism. Two Expedia guests reported water problems in June 2026, although subsequent reviews are more positive. We'd choose it for convenience and friendly staff, but skip it if modern rooms and reliably smooth four-star facilities are priorities.

• Best for: overnight airport stopovers; business travelers prioritizing airport access

• Watch out for: dated rooms and uneven maintenance; inconsistent restaurant service; water problems reported in June 2026

• Location: Airport Residential Area: convenient for flights, rather than a city-center sightseeing base.

• Rooms: Guests describe spacious, comfortable rooms, but dated decor and faulty fixtures recur.

• Cleanliness: Generally praised, though individual bathroom-cleaning lapses appear in recent feedback.

• Service: Welcoming staff are a consistent strength; restaurant speed is less dependable.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, gym, spa and two restaurants; several guests report a 6 p.m. pool closure.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast, airport shuttle and self-parking are listed as free; early check-in and late checkout can cost extra.
