Weber’s is a family-owned 4-star hotel on Ann Arbor’s west side, and a strong pick if you want dinner, drinks and recreation without leaving the property. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff, clean rooms and restaurant. The upgraded bathrooms draw particular enthusiasm, while the indoor saltwater pool, hot tub, sauna and games give it more personality than a standard business hotel.

The trade-off is location: plan on driving or taking a rideshare downtown and to campus. The atmosphere around the pool can also turn lively, especially on weekends; we’d request a room away from the atrium for a quieter stay. Breakfast costs extra.
