Axel's take: 6.4/10
Convenient for the parks, but uneven rooms and housekeeping limit its appeal. A budget-oriented 3-star near Williamsburg’s theme parks, scored for what it is.
This budget-oriented 3-star is a practical base for Busch Gardens and Water Country USA, rather than a hotel to build your vacation around. Free hot breakfast and parking help its value, and recent Expedia guests often praise comfortable beds, helpful staff and clean rooms. We'd consider it for a short, park-focused trip if convenience matters more than polish.
The catch is consistency. Tripadvisor guests repeatedly describe stained bedding, worn bathrooms and maintenance problems, while Expedia feedback also mentions tired corridors and unreliable WiFi. Positive stays are common, but the housekeeping complaints are too persistent to dismiss. The outdoor pool is currently closed for the season; Wyndham advertises Memorial Day–Labor Day operation. We'd skip it if dependable cleanliness, fresh interiors or an off-season swim are priorities.
-
