Hotels in WildwoodAn upscale 4-star beachfront resort with condo-style suites
8.8/10
A strong family beach resort, with better service than luxury polish.
ICONA Diamond Beach is an upscale 4-star beachfront resort built around practical, condo-style suites rather than full-service luxury. We'd pick it for an easy family beach holiday: kitchenettes, separate living areas and a private beach make the setup genuinely useful. Tripadvisor and recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise cleanliness and warm, helpful staff; beach attendants earn particular appreciation.
The trade-offs are worth checking before booking. Views vary by room category, most suite bathrooms are reached through the bedroom, and some recent guests find bathrooms less polished than the resort's positioning suggests. There's a mandatory resort fee and a 10 a.m. checkout; the outdoor pool, beach service and boardwalk shuttle are seasonal. We'd skip it for walk-out boardwalk nightlife or a luxury stay where every room detail feels premium.
