Hotels in Wichita Falls, TexasA 3-star extended-stay hotel with kitchen suites
5.8/10
Useful kitchen suites and friendly staff, undermined by recurring cleanliness and maintenance problems.
Staybridge Suites Wichita Falls is a 3-star extended-stay hotel with kitchen-equipped suites, nearby restaurants and shops, and free parking. Its practical strengths are real: guests praise the room space, comfortable beds, breakfast and helpful front-desk staff. IHG also advertises complimentary evening socials Monday through Wednesday. But we'd treat it as a conditional choice rather than a dependable extended-stay base.
The overall guest picture is mixed, and recent reports are concerning. Tripadvisor and Travelocity guests describe recurring pests, dirty rooms, leaking air conditioners and worn or broken fixtures during 2025–2026, alongside some clean, comfortable stays. The seasonal outdoor pool also drew July 2026 complaints about cloudy water and poor circulation; confirm its condition before counting on it. Kitchen space may suit self-catering travelers, but we'd skip this one if reliable cleanliness or swimming is a priority.

Best for: self-catering travelers prioritizing kitchen space; travelers needing roomier suites and free parking
Watch out for: recurring pest and cleanliness reports; leaking AC units and worn fixtures; pool condition and availability
Location: Convenient for restaurants and shopping near Sikes Senter Mall; a car helps for wider sightseeing.
Rooms: Kitchen-equipped suites offer useful space, but guests repeatedly report wear and maintenance faults.
Cleanliness: Some guests report clean rooms, but multiple 2026 reviews describe pests and serious cleaning failures.
Service: Helpful front-desk staff are a recurring bright spot; follow-through on repairs is less consistent.
Amenities: Free breakfast, weekday socials, gym and laundry; the seasonal outdoor pool has recent condition complaints.
Fees and surprises: Parking is free; pets incur a stay-length-based fee, and IHG lists laundry as paid.
