Midtown is the better fit when the neighborhood itself is part of the trip: patios, coffee shops, neighborhood bars and restaurants around Walker Avenue and NW 10th Street. Automobile Alley adds Broadway's former car showrooms, neon signs, shops and art stops including Factory Obscura and Oklahoma Contemporary. This is our strongest dining-led base.

- Skip it if
- Your trip revolves around the convention center; You want reliably quiet evenings
- Getting around
- Walk between Midtown restaurants and Broadway's shops; the Downtown Loop streetcar connects downtown and Bricktown; from OKC, use a taxi, rideshare or rental car.
- After dark
- Expect restaurant patios, beer gardens and cocktail bars rather than Bricktown's canal-side entertainment circuit.
