World's Fair Park gives you open lawns, seasonal splash pads, the Sunsphere and Knoxville Museum of Art, with the convention center alongside. Walk west along Cumberland Avenue for campus life or south toward Neyland Stadium; this is the strongest compromise between downtown sightseeing, a university visit and somewhere for children to let off steam.

- Where to look
- Henley Street beside World's Fair Park. Choose the park edge for convention access and greenway connections between downtown, campus and the river.White Avenue near Eleventh Street. A useful campus-and-park compromise for visitors splitting their days between UT, the convention center and downtown.Cumberland Avenue's Strip. Stay here for campus-focused days and a lively commercial strip of shops and restaurants rather than a park-side retreat.
