Axel's take: 7.4/10

A useful airport stopover, but room condition and shuttle service can be uneven. A practical 3-star airport hotel near Toronto Congress Centre, scored for what it is.

This is a practical 3-star airport hotel, best used for a Pearson stopover or an event at nearby Toronto Congress Centre. We'd consider it for those jobs rather than a Toronto sightseeing break. Recent Expedia guests regularly praise comfortable beds, spacious rooms and helpful staff, while Perkins makes meals straightforward. The indoor pool, gym and advertised free, round-the-clock airport shuttle give it useful extras for its class.

The catch is consistency. Many guests find rooms clean and comfortable, but reviews across sites also flag worn furnishings, stained carpets and maintenance shortcomings. Tripadvisor includes repeated overnight shuttle complaints despite the advertised schedule, so confirm pickup arrangements for a late arrival. Parking costs extra, and breakfast isn't automatically included. We'd skip it if uniformly fresh rooms or a seamless late-night transfer matter most.

• Best for: Pearson airport stopovers; Toronto Congress Centre attendees; Families wanting an indoor pool

• Watch out for: Uneven room condition; Confirm overnight shuttle arrangements; Parking and some breakfasts cost extra

• Location: Convenient for Pearson and Toronto Congress Centre; less suited to a downtown-focused visit.

• Rooms: Often described as spacious with comfortable beds, but furnishings and maintenance vary.

• Cleanliness: Mostly positive recent feedback, with recurring exceptions involving carpets and housekeeping.

• Service: Helpful staff earn frequent praise; overnight shuttle handling is less consistent.

• Amenities: Indoor heated pool, gym, free Wi-Fi, Perkins restaurant and an advertised 24-hour airport shuttle.

• Fees and surprises: Paid parking; check whether breakfast is included in your booking.
