Axel's take: 8.7/10

White Villa delivers character and a superb city location, with a few consistency concerns. An upscale boutique hotel in a restored villa near Habima Square, scored for what it is.

White Villa is an upscale boutique hotel in a restored 1948 villa, better suited to exploring Tel Aviv than a beachfront holiday. It's a strong pick for travelers who prefer residential character to a large hotel's bustle. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests consistently praise the comfortable beds, attractive rooms, cleanliness and helpful staff, including positive stays in 2026. Habima Square, Rothschild Boulevard and Dizengoff Centre are close by.

Choose your room carefully: the hotel's Classic rooms are compact, while larger categories offer considerably more space. Street and common-area noise feature in some reviews, and scattered maintenance complaints temper the luxury positioning. Breakfast earns plenty of praise, but a recent Google reviewer found it underwhelming. There's no on-site parking. We'd skip it if beachfront access, guaranteed quiet or full-service luxury matters more than design and walkability.

• Best for: Couples who prefer intimate boutique hotels; Architecture and design enthusiasts; Car-free city breaks

• Watch out for: Street and common-area noise; Compact entry-level rooms; No on-site parking

• Location: Central for Habima, Rothschild Boulevard and Dizengoff Centre; not beachfront.

• Rooms: Classic rooms are 18–20 m²; larger rooms and lofts offer more space, with some maintenance concerns in guest feedback.

• Cleanliness: A clear strength across Tripadvisor and Expedia, despite occasional housekeeping criticism.

• Service: Generally warm and helpful, with positive feedback continuing into 2026.

• Amenities: Breakfast, a bar, rooftop terrace and small fitness room; breakfast feedback is mostly positive rather than unanimous.

• Fees and surprises: No hotel parking; nearby public parking is paid, and breakfast inclusion should be checked when booking.
