#4 of 8 hotels in Rothschild Boulevard by Axel's take. Rothschild Boulevard is #1 of 8 places to stay in Tel Aviv. The best hotels in Rothschild Boulevard, ranked · Where to stay in Tel Aviv

Axel's take: 8.7/10

A characterful city base with thoughtful extras, best explored without a car. An adults-only, upscale boutique hotel near Rothschild Boulevard, scored for what it is.

Bachar House is an adults-only, upscale boutique hotel in a restored historic building near Rothschild Boulevard. It's a strong pick for couples who want restaurants, bars and city walks rather than a beachfront resort. Booking.com guests praise comfortable beds, cleanliness and helpful staff; Tripadvisor feedback also favors the location and welcome. The complimentary wine-and-cheese lounge and planted rooftop give this small hotel more appeal than its room count suggests.

The trade-offs are practical: breakfast and the gym are next door at Rothschild 22, and some room categories are compact. One July 2025 Expedia guest flags noisy Thursday-night surroundings, so light sleepers should request a quieter room. Parking is particularly restrictive: Fattal currently lists paid garage access only Friday–Saturday, subject to availability and advance coordination. We'd skip it for family stays or an easy driving holiday.

  • Best for: Couples on a city break; Restaurant and nightlife explorers; Travelers who prefer small historic hotels

  • Watch out for: Adults only, ages 18 and over; Breakfast and gym in the neighboring hotel; Restricted paid parking; coordinate ahead

  • Location: Excellent for Rothschild Boulevard and nearby dining; a city location rather than a beachfront stay.

  • Rooms: Comfortable beds draw praise; entry categories are compact, so compare room sizes before booking.

  • Cleanliness: Strong Booking.com cleanliness scores and positive Expedia feedback outweigh isolated older complaints.

  • Service: Helpful, welcoming staff are a consistent strength across guest-review sites.

  • Amenities: Complimentary lounge refreshments, rooftop seating and spa treatments; gym access at Rothschild 22.

  • Fees and surprises: Check breakfast inclusion; paid parking requires advance coordination, and Saturday check-in starts later.
