Strong seaside comfort and standout lounge service, but check the spa works before booking. a five-star seafront chain hotel across the road from the beach, scored for what it is.

Sheraton Grand Tel Aviv is a five-star seafront chain hotel that makes a strong case for combining beach time with city exploring. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests praise the renovated interiors, cleanliness and helpful staff; the adults-only Club Lounge draws particularly consistent enthusiasm. We'd choose it for Mediterranean views, generous breakfasts and dependable full-service comfort rather than boutique character.

The beach is across the road, not private hotel sand, and some guests find the balconies small. More importantly, Expedia lists spa renovation work from October 18, 2026, through April 3, 2027; confirm treatment availability and potential disturbance directly. The outdoor pool also closes December through February. Parking costs extra, breakfast depends on your booking, and lounge access isn't standard. We'd skip it for a spa-focused break during the works or a winter trip built around swimming.

• Best for: couples combining beach and city time; business travelers wanting full-service comfort; adults booking Club Lounge access

• Watch out for: spa renovations through April 3, 2027; outdoor pool closed December–February; small balconies in some rooms

• Location: Across the road from the beach, with the promenade and central restaurants close by.

• Rooms: Renovated rooms and sea views receive strong praise; some balconies are small.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Tripadvisor and Expedia feedback.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff earn repeated praise, particularly in the Club Lounge.

• Amenities: Gym, restaurants and seasonal outdoor pool; Club Lounge is adults-only with restricted access.

• Fees and surprises: Parking and some breakfasts cost extra; Expedia lists spa works October 18, 2026–April 3, 2027.
