Axel's take: 9.3/10

Renoma pairs distinctive design with unusually personal service, steps from the beach. an upscale design-led boutique hotel with suites and apartments beside Tel Aviv’s beach, scored for what it is.

Renoma is an upscale boutique hotel with suites and apartments, not a sprawling beachfront resort. It’s a strong pick for travelers who want distinctive interiors, comfortable rooms and genuinely attentive service. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise staff who make stays feel personal, while Booking.com’s exceptionally strong ratings reinforce the picture on cleanliness and comfort. The beach is just across the road, and balconies add appeal.

The trade-offs are mostly about the setting and scale. Some guests mention street noise, including in 2026, and Expedia lists no on-site parking. Gym access is nearby rather than in the hotel, though there is a small spa, plus Bar 51 and a café. We’d choose it for a beach-and-city break; skip it if quiet surroundings, easy parking or extensive resort facilities are essential.

• Best for: couples on a beach-and-city break; travelers who value personal service; families wanting apartment space

• Watch out for: street noise in some rooms; no on-site parking listed; gym is off-site

• Location: Across the road from the beach, with central restaurants and sights within walking distance.

• Rooms: Individually styled rooms, suites and apartments; confirm the specific layout and view before booking.

• Cleanliness: Consistently strong ratings, reinforced by recent guests describing spotless rooms.

• Service: The standout: warm, responsive staff earn repeated praise across several sites.

• Amenities: Small spa with sauna, Bar 51, café, beach towels and parasols, and complimentary nearby gym access.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists a deposit and paid airport transfers; confirm parking arrangements and breakfast inclusions.
