Axel's take: 8.7/10

A strong city base for clean rooms and helpful staff, not beach holidays. a modern mid-range city hotel with shared workspaces, scored for what it is.

Link is a modern mid-range Dan hotel with street-art interiors and a shared workspace rather than a resort atmosphere. It's a strong pick for business trips and culture-focused breaks, with the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, theaters and Azrieli nearby. Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor guests consistently praise cleanliness and helpful staff; recent reviews also rate breakfast well. The communal Hub adds useful space to work, eat or unwind.

The main compromise is room size: standard Queen rooms are just 17 square meters, so consider a larger category if you're sharing or carrying substantial luggage. This is an inland city base, not a beach hotel. Parking costs extra and depends on availability, while breakfast inclusion needs checking when booking. We'd skip it if spacious rooms or easy beach access are your priorities.

• Best for: business travelers; museum and theater visitors; couples on short city breaks

• Watch out for: compact standard Queen rooms; inland rather than beachfront; paid parking, subject to availability

• Location: Convenient for the museum, theaters, Ichilov Hospital and Azrieli; less convenient for beach-focused stays.

• Rooms: Contemporary and functional; standard Queens are 17 square meters, with espresso machines and mini-fridges.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor guest feedback.

• Service: Recent guests repeatedly praise friendly, helpful reception staff.

• Amenities: Shared workspaces, gym, games, breakfast, a specialty café and pizza restaurant.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is charged and availability is limited; check whether breakfast is included.
