#3 of 8 hotels in Beitou Hot Springs by Axel's take. Beitou Hot Springs is #9 of 9 places to stay in Taipei. The best hotels in Beitou Hot Springs, ranked · Where to stay in Taipei
Axel's take: 8.9/10
A strong Beitou spa escape, with private soaking tubs and consistently praised cleanliness. an upscale hot-spring hotel near Xinbeitou MRT, scored for what it is.
Wellspring by Silks Beitou is an upscale hot-spring hotel that makes a strong case for slowing down rather than rushing through Taipei. Private in-room spring baths are the main draw, backed by public bathing facilities and an outdoor pool. Recent Expedia, Booking.com and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms and welcoming staff; lounge refreshments and happy hour add to the appeal. We'd pick it for a short, bath-focused break with convenient MRT access.
The trade-offs are modest but worth knowing. Breakfast wins plenty of fans, yet limited variety is a recurring criticism across sites. The short approach from Xinbeitou station includes an uphill stretch. We'd skip it if soaking isn't a priority or you want a base in central Taipei's shopping and nightlife districts.
