Axel's take: 6.8/10

A workable budget stop, but noise and uneven housekeeping limit its appeal. a basic budget motel in north Spokane, scored for what it is.

SilverStone Inn North Spokane is a basic budget motel, not a full-service 3-star hotel. We'd consider it for a short, practical stay rather than a vacation base. Recent Expedia and Trip.com guests often praise helpful staff, comfortable beds and refreshed rooms; free parking and nearby restaurants add convenience. The supplied Ramada website belongs to a different hotel: this property is at 20 West Houston Avenue.

The trade-offs are inconsistent housekeeping, lingering maintenance issues and road noise that several guests say disrupts sleep. Breakfast also needs realistic expectations: the official site advertises a hot buffet, while recent guests describe a modest grab-and-go selection. Getaroom lists the outdoor pool as closed from September 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. We'd skip it for light sleepers or anyone who needs reliably spotless rooms and dependable facilities.

• Best for: budget-conscious road trippers; short stays in north Spokane

• Watch out for: road noise and uneven housekeeping; modest breakfast despite buffet advertising; outdoor pool closed through June 30, 2027

• Location: North Spokane, near restaurants and shopping; not a downtown sightseeing base.

• Rooms: Some guests report refreshed rooms and comfortable beds, but noise and maintenance vary.

• Cleanliness: Many clean-room reports coexist with repeated complaints about bathrooms, bedding and carpets.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff earn frequent praise, though problem handling is inconsistent.

• Amenities: Free parking and Wi-Fi; basic breakfast; seasonal outdoor pool currently listed as closed.

• Fees and surprises: A damage deposit is listed, with conflicting terms across sites; confirm before arrival.
