Axel's take: 8.9/10

A strong airport stopover with unusually good basics, but choose your room carefully. a comfortable, limited-service chain hotel between downtown and the airport, scored for what it is.

This Hampton is a comfortable, limited-service hotel between Spokane’s airport and downtown, and we’d put it high on the shortlist for a practical overnight stay. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Free hot breakfast, parking and an airport shuttle make it good value, while the indoor pool gives families another reason to choose it. It delivers the things that matter most in this class.

The main compromise is location: this is a driving base, not somewhere to step outside into downtown restaurants. Road-facing rooms can pick up I-90 noise, with more than one recent Tripadvisor guest flagging it; request the back of the building if you sleep lightly. We’d skip it for a walkable city break, but recommend it for flights, road trips and family stopovers.

• Best for: travelers catching flights; families on road trips; drivers visiting Spokane

• Watch out for: I-90 noise in road-facing rooms; little within walking distance; confirm EV chargers are working

• Location: Between the airport and downtown; convenient by car rather than on foot.

• Rooms: Guests generally find rooms spacious and comfortable; request a rear-facing room for less traffic noise.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent reviews, with particularly strong cleanliness ratings.

• Service: Recent guests repeatedly praise friendly, helpful reception staff.

• Amenities: Free hot breakfast, airport shuttle, indoor pool, fitness center and Wi-Fi.

• Fees and surprises: On-site parking is free; pets incur a nonrefundable fee, and an April 2026 guest reported unavailable EV chargers.
