W Singapore is a renovated 5-star resort beside Sentosa Cove’s marina, and it’s a strong pick if the hotel itself is part of your holiday. The makeover is complete, not just a new label on older rooms. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise spacious, clean rooms, comfortable beds and genuinely helpful staff. The large, round-the-clock outdoor pool and waterslide give families a reason to stay put, while the refreshed spa adds appeal for couples.
The main compromise is location: waterfront restaurants are nearby, but beaches and central Singapore require transport. The complimentary VivoCity shuttle helps, though it runs at selected times. Poolside music and DJ sessions also make this a livelier proposition than a hushed luxury retreat; some guests report music carrying into rooms.
