A strong downtown base with welcoming service, historic character and some aging rooms. A historic 4-star hotel in downtown Seattle, scored for what it is.

Mayflower Park is a historic 4-star hotel that makes a strong base for exploring Seattle without a car. Pike Place Market is a short walk away, with Westlake light rail and the monorail close by. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff, cleanliness and old-fashioned character. We'd choose it for its central location and traditional atmosphere rather than cutting-edge luxury; Oliver's Lounge adds a convenient spot for drinks and food.

The main compromise is uneven room freshness. Several guests describe worn furnishings, compact bathrooms or fixtures needing modernization, although overall feedback remains strongly positive. Some rooms also attract street or mechanical noise complaints. A daily destination fee and separate valet charges deserve attention before booking.
