Axel's take: 8.6/10

Spacious suites and generous breakfast make this a strong family base, despite tired furnishings. a mid-range all-suite hotel on the western edge of Savannah’s Historic District, scored for what it is.

This mid-range all-suite hotel is a strong pick for families who want room to spread out and a walkable Savannah base. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, cleanliness and spacious suites. Included cooked-to-order breakfast and the evening drinks reception add genuine value, while the outdoor pool gives children a break from sightseeing. City Market and the SCAD Museum of Art are nearby; this isn’t a riverfront hotel.

The main compromise is condition rather than space: recent guests on both sites describe worn carpets, dated furniture and uncomfortable sofa beds. Breakfast can also struggle with busy periods, and garage parking carries a substantial extra charge. We’d choose it for practical comfort and useful inclusions, but skip it if fresh interiors or a dependable extra sleeping surface are priorities.

• Best for: families wanting separate living space; travelers who value an included hot breakfast; Historic District sightseeing

• Watch out for: worn furnishings and uncomfortable sofa beds; extra charge for garage parking; breakfast crowding and replenishment delays

• Location: Western Historic District base near City Market and SCAD Museum of Art, rather than directly on the riverfront.

• Rooms: Generously sized suites; recurring reports of dated furniture, worn carpeting and tired sofa beds.

• Cleanliness: Generally praised across recent reviews; carpet wear is a more consistent concern than housekeeping.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength, especially at the bar and concierge desk.

• Amenities: Included cooked-to-order breakfast, evening reception, outdoor pool, gym, restaurant and free Wi-Fi.

• Fees and surprises: Covered self-parking costs extra; no valet or airport shuttle, and pets incur a nonrefundable fee.
