Handy airport suites, but inconsistent upkeep makes this a cautious pick. A practical 3-star all-suite airport hotel, now a Holiday Inn Express, scored for what it is.

This is a straightforward 3-star all-suite hotel near SRQ and The Ringling, now operating as Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sarasota Bradenton rather than SpringHill Suites. We'd consider it for a short airport stop: spacious layouts, included breakfast and free parking make practical sense. Expedia guests frequently praise helpful staff and comfortable beds, and many report clean rooms.

Consistency is the catch. Tripadvisor and Expedia reviews also describe recurring housekeeping gaps, musty smells and maintenance problems, with some recent pest reports. August 2026 guests mentioned remodeling; confirm whether that work has finished before booking. The brand change is verified, but a reliable improvement in standards isn't yet established. There's an outdoor pool and gym, but no airport shuttle, and this isn't beachfront. We'd skip it for a longer holiday if dependable room condition matters more than convenience.

• Best for: Short airport stopovers; Travelers wanting extra room; Ringling museum visitors with a car

• Watch out for: Uneven housekeeping and maintenance; Confirm August 2026 remodeling has finished; New brand; no airport shuttle

• Location: Convenient for SRQ and The Ringling; beaches require a drive.

• Rooms: Roomy suites with microwaves and refrigerators, but condition varies.

• Cleanliness: Many positive reports, alongside recurring housekeeping complaints and some pest reports.

• Service: Helpful front-desk staff are a recurring strength; housekeeping follow-through is less dependable.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, outdoor pool, 24-hour gym and free Wi-Fi.

• Fees and surprises: Free self-parking; now Holiday Inn Express, with no airport shuttle and remodeling reported in August 2026.
