Axel's take: 8.3/10

Spacious rooms and helpful staff make this a strong Berrini business base. a practical 4-star business hotel in São Paulo’s Berrini district, scored for what it is.

Transamerica Berrini is a practical 4-star business hotel: a strong pick for room space and convenience rather than luxury polish. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the comfortable rooms, cleanliness and helpful staff, with breakfast another frequent positive. The hotel puts Berrini station about 550 meters away, making it a useful base for meetings in this business district.

The trade-off is uneven upkeep. Several 2025–26 Tripadvisor guests describe unreliable shower temperature or pressure, while noise complaints suggest soundproofing varies between rooms. These aren't the dominant experience, but they're worth weighing if quiet sleep and flawless bathrooms matter most. Parking costs extra, and the official site lists a tourism fee. We'd choose it for a work trip, but skip it for a luxury escape.

• Best for: business travelers visiting Berrini; travelers who prioritize spacious rooms; guests using nearby rail connections

• Watch out for: variable soundproofing; recurring shower maintenance complaints; parking and tourism charges

• Location: Convenient for Berrini offices; the hotel places Berrini train station about 550 meters away.

• Rooms: Generous layouts are a strength; bathroom upkeep and noise isolation are less consistent.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall guest ratings, despite some recent complaints about bathroom cleaning.

• Service: Helpful reception and housekeeping staff earn repeated praise across review sites.

• Amenities: Buffet breakfast, restaurants, free Wi-Fi, a gym and meeting facilities cover business-stay essentials.

• Fees and surprises: Parking and pets incur extra charges; the official website also lists a tourism fee.
