#4 of 9 hotels in Avenida Paulista by Axel's take. Avenida Paulista is #1 of 10 places to stay in Sao Paulo. The best hotels in Avenida Paulista, ranked · Where to stay in Sao Paulo

Axel's take: 8.3/10

A strong Paulista base, with welcoming staff but uneven room condition. a mid-range business hotel just off Avenida Paulista, scored for what it is.

Blue Tree Premium Paulista is a mid-range business hotel whose strongest assets are its address and its people. One block from Avenida Paulista, near MASP and the metro, it makes a practical base for sightseeing or work. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff, while breakfast earns plenty of positive mentions. The heated pool and gym are useful extras. We'd choose it for convenience and dependable hospitality rather than stylish rooms.

The main compromise is uneven upkeep: reviews across several sites mention dated furnishings, worn carpets and occasional housekeeping lapses, although overall cleanliness ratings remain positive. Some guests also report intrusive street noise. Check whether breakfast is included, and budget for paid parking. We'd skip it if fresh interiors and reliably quiet sleep are priorities.

  • Best for: first-time São Paulo visitors; business travelers around Paulista; museum and restaurant explorers

  • Watch out for: dated furnishings and uneven room upkeep; street noise in some rooms; breakfast inclusion varies; parking costs extra

  • Location: One block from Paulista, close to MASP, restaurants and metro connections.

  • Rooms: Comfort generally satisfies, but dated furnishings, worn carpets and noise draw repeated criticism.

  • Cleanliness: Positive overall ratings, with some recent complaints about housekeeping details and tired linens.

  • Service: Warm, helpful staff are a recurring strength across review sites.

  • Amenities: Heated pool, gym, Noah restaurant and lobby bar; confirm sauna availability rather than relying on older listings.

  • Fees and surprises: Parking is charged separately; verify whether your booking includes breakfast.
