Axel's take: 8.3/10

A strong Moema base for comfort and service, with some dated-room trade-offs. a practical 4-star Meliá business hotel in Moema, scored for what it is.

Meliá Ibirapuera is a practical 4-star business hotel in Moema, and we'd pick it for neighborhood convenience rather than luxury. Restaurants, shopping and the metro are nearby, though the name doesn't mean you're beside Ibirapuera Park. Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise the staff, cleanliness, comfortable beds and breakfast. The indoor pool, gym and sauna round out a useful city-hotel package.

The compromises are less generous bathrooms and some rooms showing their age, with scattered maintenance complaints. Noise deserves attention: guests mention traffic and aircraft, and reports in September 2025 and June 2026 describe nearby construction; its current status is unconfirmed. Ask about works and a quieter room before booking. We'd skip it for a polished luxury stay or guaranteed quiet, but it's a strong choice for business trips and exploring Moema.

• Best for: business travelers; travelers exploring Moema; short city breaks

• Watch out for: small bathrooms in some rooms; traffic, aircraft and reported construction noise; uneven room condition

• Location: Convenient for Moema restaurants, shopping and metro access; not directly beside Ibirapuera Park.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds draw praise, but some bathrooms are cramped and room condition varies.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback, including particularly high cleanliness ratings on Expedia.

• Service: Helpful, friendly staff are a consistent strength, despite occasional problem-handling complaints.

• Amenities: The hotel lists a temperature-controlled indoor pool, gym, sauna, dining and meeting facilities.

• Fees and surprises: Parking costs extra; confirm construction and pool availability, and distinguish hotel rooms from independently rented units.
