Axel's take: 9.0/10

An unusually strong 3-star, with standout staff and easy access to Liberdade. a comfortable 3-star hotel and hospitality training school in Liberdade, scored for what it is.

Leques Brasil is a 3-star hotel and hospitality training school in Liberdade that gets the important things right. Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor guests consistently praise attentive staff, spacious rooms and thorough cleaning, with breakfast another regular highlight. São Joaquim metro is a short walk away, making this a practical base for exploring beyond the neighborhood. The rooftop pool and steam room are welcome extras at this level.

Choose it for comfort and service rather than boutique atmosphere. Parking costs extra, and a recent Tripadvisor guest describes awkward access with luggage, so drivers should check arrangements before arriving. Breakfast feedback is overwhelmingly positive rather than unanimous. We'd pick it for a straightforward city stay; skip it if distinctive design or seamless parking matters most.

• Best for: travelers exploring Liberdade; couples and families prioritizing comfort; city visitors using the metro

• Watch out for: parking costs extra; reported awkward parking access with luggage

• Location: In Liberdade, a short walk from São Joaquim metro and neighborhood attractions.

• Rooms: Guests repeatedly praise spacious rooms and comfortable beds; expect practical comfort rather than boutique styling.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and recent Tripadvisor feedback.

• Service: Helpful, attentive staff are the clearest recurring highlight across review sites.

• Amenities: Rooftop outdoor pool, steam room, restaurant, Wi-Fi and breakfast-inclusive room options.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is charged separately; confirm luggage access and any service charge for your booking.
