Axel's take: 8.3/10

A strong Itaim base for work and dining, but choose your room carefully. a practical 4-star Meliá business hotel in Itaim Bibi, scored for what it is.

INNSiDE São Paulo Itaim is a practical 4-star Meliá business hotel whose biggest advantage is the neighborhood: restaurants, cafés and Faria Lima are within walking distance. We'd pick it for a work trip or a food-focused city break. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, clean rooms and comfortable stays. Standard rooms offer a useful 27 square meters, while the gym and dry sauna round out the business-hotel basics.

The catch is uneven room condition. September 2026 reporting describes gradual room renovations, and recent guest feedback still mentions worn furnishings and bathrooms needing maintenance. Confirm a renovated category rather than assuming every room matches the freshest photos. Breakfast generally earns praise, though not universally; parking costs extra. We'd skip it if consistently fresh interiors or doorstep metro access matter most.

• Best for: business travelers visiting Itaim and Faria Lima; couples exploring neighborhood restaurants; travelers who prioritize space over luxury

• Watch out for: gradual renovations and uneven room condition; bathroom maintenance complaints; metro stations are not close

• Location: Excellent for walking to Itaim restaurants and Faria Lima; less convenient for metro-first sightseeing.

• Rooms: Standard rooms are 27 square meters; renovated and older categories coexist, so confirm what you book.

• Cleanliness: Generally strong across major sites, despite occasional housekeeping complaints.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a consistent strength in recent Tripadvisor and Expedia reviews.

• Amenities: Bite Box restaurant, gym, dry sauna and free Wi-Fi; breakfast is generally well received.

• Fees and surprises: Valet parking and pets cost extra; check breakfast inclusion and renovation status before booking.
