Axel's take: 7.4/10

A practical downtown base with good breakfast, but uneven rooms. A no-frills 3-star in São Paulo’s historic center, scored for what it is.

Euro Suite is a no-frills 3-star best chosen for downtown convenience rather than polished rooms. São Bento metro and Rua 25 de Março shopping are close by, making it a practical base for short business or shopping trips. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the breakfast and helpful staff; overall feedback remains broadly positive. It’s a sensible pick if location matters more than modern interiors.

The trade-off is inconsistent upkeep. Recent guests across Tripadvisor, Expedia and Hotels.com describe tired furnishings, worn towels, noisy air-conditioning and bathrooms needing attention, alongside plenty of clean-room reports. That makes room condition the main reservation, not service. We’d skip it for a special-occasion stay or if quiet, consistently well-maintained accommodation is essential. Parking costs extra; confirm breakfast inclusion because the official site and booking listings disagree.

• Best for: Budget-conscious downtown shoppers; Short business trips; Travelers prioritizing metro access

• Watch out for: Uneven room maintenance; Noisy air-conditioning in some rooms; Paid parking; verify breakfast inclusion

• Location: Convenient for historic-center sights and shopping, roughly five minutes’ walk from São Bento metro.

• Rooms: Simple, aging interiors; recurring complaints concern air-conditioning noise, curtains and bathroom maintenance.

• Cleanliness: Many clean-room reports, but repeated housekeeping criticisms mean consistency is not a strong point.

• Service: Helpful staff are a recurring strength across Booking.com and Expedia feedback.

• Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, meeting rooms and 24-hour reception; breakfast draws frequent praise.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is charged; the hotel advertises complimentary breakfast while Expedia lists a surcharge, so verify your reservation.
