8.5/10
A strong beachfront pick for practical suites, with some room-condition and construction caveats.
Edison Beach House is a small, mid-range beachfront apartment hotel, and a strong pick for travelers who want to cook, do laundry and walk to restaurants. Gulf-view balconies, full kitchens and in-suite washers and dryers make longer stays practical. Tripadvisor and Travelocity guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, cleanliness and beach access; the heated pool, loaner beach gear and simple continental breakfast add useful extras.
The trade-off is consistency rather than location: some recent guests describe tired furnishings and disappointing bedding amid otherwise strong feedback. A September 2026 Tripadvisor review also reports drilling from construction next door and work on the fifth floor—ask whether both are finished before booking. There’s a daily resort fee, and parking covers one car per suite. We’d skip it if polished interiors or reliably quiet mornings are essential.
