Axel's take: 7.1/10

A practical budget base near Metrocentro, but comfort and upkeep are inconsistent. a no-frills budget hotel in Colonia Miramonte, scored for what it is.

Hotel Manantiales is a no-frills budget hotel in Colonia Miramonte, worth considering for a short stay near Metrocentro rather than for the rooms themselves. Booking.com guests rate location and staff particularly well, and the overall ratings suggest a generally satisfactory basic stay. Air-conditioned rooms, free Wi-Fi and free parking cover the essentials.

The trade-off is inconsistent comfort. Recent Booking.com and Expedia reviews mention malfunctioning air conditioning and nighttime noise; Expedia guests also report hard beds and uneven housekeeping alongside positive stays. We'd consider it for a brief, budget-conscious visit, but skip it if quiet sleep or dependable room condition is essential. Confirm your reservation directly before arrival, since booking-handling problems appear on more than one platform.

• Best for: budget-conscious short stays; travelers with errands near Metrocentro

• Watch out for: nighttime noise and hard beds; inconsistent air conditioning and housekeeping; confirm reservations directly before arrival

• Location: Colonia Miramonte, convenient for Metrocentro; location is a standout in Booking.com ratings.

• Rooms: Basic private rooms; recent guests flag hard beds, unreliable air conditioning and noise.

• Cleanliness: Generally satisfactory aggregate scores, but recent housekeeping and bedding complaints warrant caution.

• Service: Friendly staff earn frequent praise, though reservation handling and problem-solving are less dependable.

• Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, free parking, terrace, laundry facilities and 24-hour reception; no elevator.

• Fees and surprises: Confirm breakfast inclusion; a recent guest reports a dispute, and transfers and laundry carry extra charges.
