Le Bergerac is a small, older boutique hotel in Los Yoses, better approached as a simple city base than the upscale stay some listings suggest. Gardens, traditional architecture and nearby restaurants give it appeal. Several 2026 Expedia guests praise helpful staff and comfortable stays, but Booking.com’s weaker overall rating underlines the inconsistency. We’d consider it for a short stop, not choose it for dependable comfort.

The sticking point is upkeep: Tripadvisor guests across 2025 and early 2026 repeatedly describe dirty bathrooms, worn linens and broken fittings; Expedia also records cleaning complaints. Noise from nearby nightlife and the entrance doorbell can disturb sleep.
