Hotel De Anza is a historic 4-star boutique hotel whose strongest selling point is its downtown location: SAP Center and San Pedro Square’s restaurants are an easy walk away. It’s a good pick for an event-focused stay rather than a hotel-centered getaway. Expedia and Booking.com guests generally praise the welcoming staff and clean, comfortable rooms; Tripadvisor feedback is more uneven about upkeep and housekeeping.

The big drawback is the ongoing renovation. Early October 2026 Expedia guests report an unusable lobby and bar, and IHG says the restaurant and bar remain closed until late fall 2026.
