8.1/10
Good comfort for the money, but neighboring construction weakens the appeal.
Pituba Praiamar is a straightforward mid-range hotel near Pituba’s waterfront, better suited to a practical city stay than a resort holiday. We’d pick it for comfortable beds, generally clean rooms and good value. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the staff and breakfast, although Tripadvisor feedback is more mixed. The hotel confirms a restaurant and gym, and breakfast is included according to Expedia.
The main drawback is neighboring building construction: September 2026 guests report disruptive noise, including at night, and earlier reviews warn that sea views may be lost. Tight bathrooms and showers that wet the floor also recur across sites. There’s no pool, and parking spaces are limited. We’d skip it for a leisure-heavy beach holiday or if quiet sleep is essential; otherwise, it’s a solid base if you confirm the construction situation before booking.

Best for: business travelers with plans in Pituba; value-minded city visitors; short stays focused on room comfort
Watch out for: neighboring construction noise and changing sea views; tight bathrooms and leaking shower enclosures; limited parking and no pool
Location: Near Pituba’s waterfront and neighborhood services, rather than the historic sightseeing core.
Rooms: Comfortable beds earn praise; bathroom space and shower containment are recurring weaknesses.
Cleanliness: Generally well rated, with some recent complaints about overlooked cleaning details.
Service: Staff are often praised, though restaurant service and problem handling are less consistent.
Amenities: Included breakfast, restaurant, free Wi-Fi and a small gym; no pool.
Fees and surprises: Parking is limited; Expedia lists charges for early check-in and late checkout.
