NH Prague City is a large, practical 4-star in Smíchov, and we’d pick it for comfortable space rather than historic Prague atmosphere. Booking.com’s strong cleanliness and comfort scores match the broadly positive picture on Expedia and Tripadvisor: guests regularly praise roomy accommodation, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Breakfast is another consistent strength. The private cable car to the sister NH Collection hotel uphill adds something distinctive to an otherwise straightforward city hotel.

The trade-off is location: Anděl’s shops, trams and metro are handy, but this isn’t a step-out-into-Old-Town address. Road-facing rooms can suffer traffic noise, so we’d request a hill-facing room. Although NH says rooms were recently renovated, some recent guests still describe dated details and maintenance lapses. Parking costs extra.
