#8 of 9 hotels in Holešovice & Letná by Axel's take. Holešovice & Letná is #7 of 9 places to stay in Prague. The best hotels in Holešovice & Letná, ranked · Where to stay in Prague

Axel's take: 7.5/10

Good budget value and helpful staff, but tiny rooms and thin walls limit comfort. a no-frills 2-star in Holešovice with genuinely tiny rooms, scored for what it is.

Minimino is a no-frills 2-star in Holešovice, best treated as a practical base rather than somewhere to linger. We'd consider it for a short budget trip: Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, convenient public transport and a breakfast that adds real value. The location suits Výstaviště and the nearby arena, with trams and metro connecting you to central Prague.

The name is literal: the hotel lists mini doubles at just eight square metres, and its mini singles share bathrooms. Thin walls and corridor noise recur across review sites, including 2026 stays. Cleanliness is generally rated well, though recent guests report occasional housekeeping lapses. Earlier reviews also mention nearby construction; its current status is unclear. We'd skip it for light sleepers or anyone wanting room to unpack.

Best for: budget-minded short stays; solo travelers packing light; Výstaviště and arena visitors
Watch out for: very small rooms and thin walls; shared bathrooms in mini singles; earlier construction-noise reports; current status unconfirmed
Location: Convenient for Výstaviště, the arena and public transport; not an Old Town doorstep location.
Rooms: Simple and compact: official mini doubles are eight square metres; mini singles share bathrooms.
Cleanliness: Generally positive ratings, with some recent housekeeping lapses rather than a consistently poor pattern.
Service: Friendly, helpful reception staff are the clearest recurring strength across booking and review sites.
Amenities: Buffet breakfast, free Wi-Fi, a lift, luggage storage and 24-hour reception cover the basics.
Fees and surprises: Parking costs extra; Booking.com lists a refundable cash damage deposit, so confirm requirements before arrival.
