#4 of 9 hotels in Vyšehrad & Congress Centre by Axel's take. Vyšehrad & Congress Centre is #8 of 9 places to stay in Prague. The best hotels in Vyšehrad & Congress Centre, ranked · Where to stay in Prague

Axel's take: 7.9/10

Strong on views, breakfast and transport, less convincing as a five-star luxury stay. a large five-star conference hotel beside Vyšehrad metro, scored for what it is.

Grand Hotel Prague Towers is a large five-star conference hotel that works better as a comfortable city base than a luxury retreat. We'd pick it for the panoramic views, easy Congress Centre access and Vyšehrad metro practically outside. Recent Booking.com, Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, helpful staff and a generous breakfast. It's a strong option if you're happy taking the metro into the historic centre rather than staying among the sights.

The main compromise is condition: recurring reports describe dated décor and bathrooms, while some guests flag ineffective or noisy air conditioning. The high-floor indoor pool is a draw, but pool and spa access aren't automatically included; check your exact package, including lounge and parking benefits. We'd skip it if polished contemporary rooms or an Old Town doorstep matter more than space and transport.

Best for: Congress Centre visitors; city-break travelers comfortable using the metro; travelers who prioritize views and breakfast
Watch out for: dated room décor and bathrooms; reports of weak or noisy air conditioning; pool and spa access may cost extra
Location: Beside Vyšehrad metro and convenient for the Congress Centre; outside the historic core.
Rooms: Generally comfortable with appealing upper-floor views, but décor and cooling attract recurring criticism.
Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent guest reviews, including praise for daily housekeeping.
Service: Staff are widely praised as friendly and helpful, with positive reports of practical problem-solving.
Amenities: High-floor indoor pool, spa, fitness facilities, restaurants and an executive lounge; breakfast is a highlight.
Fees and surprises: Confirm pool, spa, lounge, breakfast and parking inclusions for your specific booking rather than assuming they're included.
