A good-value park base, provided you can forgive tired rooms and noise. a budget 3-star with motel-style buildings on International Drive, scored for what it is.

Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando is a budget 3-star with motel-style buildings, best treated as a practical base rather than a resort escape. Its International Drive location puts restaurants and Pointe Orlando within walking distance, while three outdoor pools give families somewhere to unwind. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests regularly praise the value, helpful staff and clean, comfortable rooms. We'd shortlist it for busy park days, not stylish surroundings.

The recurring compromises are dated furniture, highway and walkway noise, and uneven housekeeping: plenty of guests report spotless rooms, but others describe dirty carpets or missed cleaning. Request a room away from I-4, though preferences aren't guaranteed. The hotel still advertises no resort fee, but parking costs extra, and complimentary park shuttles require reservations and run on fixed schedules. We'd skip it for a quiet, polished hotel-centered vacation.

• Best for: budget-conscious theme-park visitors; families wanting pools between outings; travelers who want walkable dining

• Watch out for: I-4 and exterior-walkway noise; dated rooms and uneven housekeeping; paid parking and fixed-schedule shuttles

• Location: Across from Pointe Orlando, with restaurants nearby and an I-RIDE Trolley stop outside.

• Rooms: Functional but tired; guests commonly praise comfort while noting dated furniture and noise.

• Cleanliness: Generally positive feedback, tempered by repeated reports of dirty carpets and missed housekeeping.

• Service: Helpful staff earn frequent praise, though room requests and problem handling can be inconsistent.

• Amenities: Three outdoor pools, fitness center, playground, arcade and dining; free park shuttles need reservations.

• Fees and surprises: No resort fee advertised; parking and standard buffet breakfast cost extra, and Disney transportation is paid.
