Axel's take: 7.9/10
A comfortable Odessa base, but parking and breakfast extras weaken the value. A practical 3-star full-service hotel near UTPB, scored for what it is.
Holiday Inn Odessa is a practical 3-star full-service hotel near the University of Texas Permian Basin and Music City Mall. It's a good pick for campus visits and work trips: Expedia's recent guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and friendly check-in, while Booking.com guests also rate cleanliness and comfort well. A restaurant and bar, outdoor pool, gym, and in-room microwaves and refrigerators give it more convenience than a basic overnight stop.
The main catch is the extras. Parking carries a nightly charge, and breakfast isn't automatically included; check your booking's meal allowance. You'll also want a car for getting around, and IHG says there's no complimentary local shuttle. We'd skip it if free parking and breakfast are priorities.
