Axel's take: 6.9/10

Choose it for waterpark convenience, not quiet nights or polished rooms. A basic 3-star family hotel connected to a waterpark in Niagara Falls, Canada, scored for what it is.

Skyline is a basic 3-star family hotel at 4800 Bender Street in Niagara Falls, Ontario—not the United States. We'd consider it for a kid-focused break: the indoor skywalk to Fallsview Indoor Waterpark, family-sized rooms and walkable Clifton Hill location are its strongest reasons to book. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, and bunk-bed options make larger families easier to accommodate.

The trade-off is an aging hotel rather than a polished resort. Reviews across sites describe dated interiors, while Tripadvisor guests repeatedly flag noise from neighboring rooms and courtyards. Cleanliness earns plenty of praise but isn't consistent enough to ignore complaints. Parking, a mandatory local fee and a daily resort fee add to the bill; waterpark admission requires an appropriate package or separate tickets. We'd skip it for a quiet couples' stay.

• Best for: Families planning waterpark visits; Larger families needing extra beds; Clifton Hill sightseeing

• Watch out for: Noise between rooms and around courtyards; Dated interiors and uneven housekeeping; Mandatory fees, paid parking and separate waterpark admission

• Location: On the Canadian side, beside Casino Niagara and within walking distance of Clifton Hill and the Falls.

• Rooms: Basic, dated rooms; bunk-bed and three-queen options suit larger families, but soundproofing draws complaints.

• Cleanliness: Many recent guests report clean rooms, alongside recurring housekeeping complaints.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a consistent strength, although some guests report slow check-in.

• Amenities: Indoor waterpark skywalk, courtyard movie nights on operating days and an on-site Perkins restaurant.

• Fees and surprises: Mandatory local and daily resort fees, paid parking and a security deposit; confirm waterpark tickets and breakfast inclusions.
