Axel's take: 7.8/10

A convenient U.S.-side base, but room condition and extra charges temper the appeal. a family-oriented 4-star on the U.S. side, connected to the casino, scored for what it is.

Sheraton Niagara Falls is a family-oriented 4-star whose strongest selling point is convenience rather than luxury. You can walk to the falls and state park, and a tunnel connects the hotel to Seneca Niagara Casino. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. On-site restaurants and an arcade make it a practical base for families and short sightseeing trips.

The catch is uneven polish: guests still describe dated rooms and bathrooms, while management says improvements are underway. Ask for an updated room, and expect some hallway or outdoor-event noise. There is a daily destination fee, parking costs extra, and breakfast is not generally included. Confirm Reef pool availability before booking around it: an August 2026 guest reported a closure, although Marriott continues to advertise the facility. We'd skip it for a consistently upscale stay or guaranteed quiet.

• Best for: families exploring the U.S. side; casino visitors; short sightseeing stays

• Watch out for: uneven room condition during improvements; destination fee, paid parking and breakfast extras; confirm Reef pool availability

• Location: Walkable to Niagara Falls State Park, with a tunnel connection to Seneca Niagara Casino.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds earn praise; dated bathrooms and occasional hallway or event noise remain drawbacks.

• Cleanliness: Broadly positive across Tripadvisor and Expedia; cleanliness is stronger than the building's condition.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength, despite some reports of poor problem handling.

• Amenities: Restaurants, arcade, gym and advertised indoor pool with hot tubs; current pool availability needs confirmation.

• Fees and surprises: Daily destination fee and paid parking; breakfast usually extra, and room improvements remain underway.
