Axel's take: 8.1/10

Book it for the falls views and walkability, not a quiet escape. a busy, full-service 4-star overlooking the falls in Ontario, Canada, scored for what it is.

Sheraton Fallsview is a large, full-service 4-star in Niagara Falls, Ontario—not the United States. It's a strong pick for sightseeing, especially if you book a room explicitly labeled Fallsview. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the views, comfortable beds and clean rooms, while Clifton Hill and the waterfront are easy to explore on foot. Indoor connections to Casino Niagara and Fallsview Indoor Waterpark add convenience for families.

The trade-off is a busy tourist-hotel atmosphere: elevator waits recur in reviews, and service recovery gets less consistent praise than everyday staff friendliness. A mandatory resort fee, paid parking and waterpark admission unless included in your package deserve attention. The rooftop outdoor pool is seasonally closed from October 12, 2026, through May 13, 2027. We'd skip it for a peaceful retreat; for a falls-focused visit, it delivers.

• Best for: first-time Niagara visitors; families visiting the waterpark; couples booking Fallsview rooms

• Watch out for: busy elevators at peak times; resort fee and paid parking; seasonal rooftop pool closure

• Location: On the Canadian side, beside Clifton Hill and across from the falls.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds and generally spacious rooms; book the view category carefully.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback, including recent Expedia praise for clean rooms.

• Service: Staff friendliness is a strength; handling complaints is less consistent.

• Amenities: Indoor pool, spa, gym and restaurants; rooftop pool is seasonal and waterpark access is package-dependent.

• Fees and surprises: Mandatory resort fee, parking charges and breakfast extra unless included.
