#5 of 9 hotels in Fallsview (Canadian Side) by Axel's take. Fallsview (Canadian Side) is #2 of 5 places to stay in Niagara Falls. The best hotels in Fallsview (Canadian Side), ranked · Where to stay in Niagara Falls

Axel's take: 7.8/10

Book for the Falls views and helpful staff, not consistently polished rooms. A practical 3-star hotel in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, scored for what it is.

Niagara Fallsview is a practical 3-star on the Canadian side, not an InterContinental luxury hotel. We'd shortlist it for a sightseeing break, especially with a specifically booked Fallsview room. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the location, helpful staff and generally clean, comfortable rooms. The indoor pool, gym and two restaurants cover the essentials, while the casino and convention centre are nearby.

The trade-off is uneven condition: recent Tripadvisor guests describe dated furnishings, worn tubs and some poorly finished bathroom upgrades. Summer 2026 reviews and management responses confirm ongoing renovations; check what work remains before booking. Parking costs extra and on-site spaces are limited, while a resort fee has also drawn complaints. We'd skip it if you want a fully refreshed hotel or expect every room to overlook the Falls.

  • Best for: Couples booking a Fallsview room; Short sightseeing breaks; Convention and casino visitors

  • Watch out for: Uneven room condition during renovations; Paid, limited on-site parking and reported resort fee; Falls views depend on room category

  • Location: In Ontario, Canada, near the casino and convention centre, with a WEGO stop outside.

  • Rooms: Generally comfortable, but dated furnishings and uneven renovation workmanship remain recurring criticisms.

  • Cleanliness: Mostly positive across Booking.com and Expedia, with some recent Tripadvisor exceptions.

  • Service: Helpful, friendly staff are a consistent strength across sources.

  • Amenities: Indoor pool, 24-hour gym, free Wi-Fi and two on-site restaurants.

  • Fees and surprises: Parking is extra; management acknowledges a resort fee, and renovation completion needs confirming.
