Go for the Falls views, but check the room category and extras carefully. A renovated 4-star Fallsview high-rise on the Canadian side, scored for what it is.

This 4-star high-rise is in Niagara Falls, Ontario—not the United States—and became a Hyatt Regency on April 1, 2026, replacing Embassy Suites. It's a strong pick for travelers who want the Falls to be the centerpiece of their stay. Renovated rooms, family-sized suites and an indoor pool give it substance beyond the scenery. Recent Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, impressive views and helpful staff.

The trade-offs are expensive parking, recurring elevator waits and inconsistent communication about upgrades and inclusions. Fallsview categories offer different perspectives, so don't assume every room overlooks both waterfalls. Tripadvisor guests reported renovation disruption through July 2026; confirm whether work remains before booking. We'd choose it for a view-focused family trip or couples' break, but skip it if quiet, seamless service and straightforward extras matter more than the panorama.

• Best for: Families needing larger suites; Couples booking a specific Falls view; First-time Niagara visitors

• Watch out for: Expensive parking and upgrade extras; Elevator waits at busy times; Confirm remaining renovation work

• Location: Canadian Fallsview district, near the Incline Railway, restaurants and casino.

• Rooms: Renovated rooms and large suites; Fallsview and Premium Fallsview are distinct categories.

• Cleanliness: Recent Expedia and Booking.com reviews generally praise clean, well-kept rooms.

• Service: Frequent praise for helpful staff, tempered by complaints about check-in communication and upselling.

• Amenities: Indoor pool, fitness center, on-site dining and room service.

• Fees and surprises: Parking costs extra; verify breakfast inclusions, the exact view and any remaining renovation disruption.
