Axel's take: 7.4/10

An easy base for the falls, but room condition remains uneven. A full-service 3-star beside Niagara Falls State Park on the U.S. side, scored for what it is.

This full-service 3-star makes most sense for a short sightseeing stay: Niagara Falls State Park is around the corner, and you can leave the car behind for the main attractions. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the convenient location and helpful front-desk staff, with many also reporting clean, comfortable rooms. An indoor heated pool and the attached Anchor Bar add practical appeal for families.

The catch is consistency. Despite a renovation reported by Buffalo Business First in 2025, recent guests still describe tired bathrooms, maintenance problems and occasional cleaning misses alongside much happier reports. Parking costs extra, and breakfast is not automatically included; check your booking's terms. We'd choose it for walkable park access rather than polished interiors, and skip it if reliably fresh rooms or an included breakfast are priorities.

• Best for: Short sightseeing stays; Families wanting an indoor pool; Travelers exploring the U.S. falls on foot

• Watch out for: Uneven bathroom condition and upkeep; Paid on-site parking; Breakfast inclusion depends on booking

• Location: The standout strength: easy walking access to the state park and major U.S.-side attractions.

• Rooms: Many guests find rooms comfortable, but recent reports still flag dated bathrooms and maintenance issues.

• Cleanliness: Generally positive overall, though recent cleaning complaints show standards are not completely consistent.

• Service: Helpful, friendly front-desk staff receive repeated praise across Booking.com and Expedia.

• Amenities: Indoor heated pool, fitness center, free Wi-Fi and the attached Anchor Bar restaurant.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is charged separately; verify breakfast coverage and expect a refundable damage deposit.
