Axel's take: 7.7/10

Come for the Falls views and casino access, but expect crowds and extra charges. a large, full-service 4-star on the Canadian side, connected to Fallsview Casino, scored for what it is.

This large 4-star in Niagara Falls, Ontario—not the United States—is a good pick when the view and entertainment matter more than an intimate hotel experience. Its enclosed connection to Fallsview Casino and OLG Stage is genuinely useful. Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms, helpful staff and the location; the Falls-facing infinity pool adds appeal. We'd choose it for a sightseeing or concert weekend, booking the exact view category rather than assuming every room overlooks both falls.

The trade-offs are big-hotel bustle, recurring elevator waits and uneven room condition, with some Tripadvisor guests finding furnishings dated. Parking is expensive, and mandatory marketing charges make the extras worth checking carefully. Pool sessions require reservations, and the family pool currently lists weekend-only hours. We'd skip it for a quiet, polished luxury escape or if straightforward, low-extra-cost accommodation is the priority.

• Best for: Falls-view sightseeing weekends; Casino and OLG Stage visitors; Families needing larger suites

• Watch out for: Elevator waits during busy periods; Expensive parking and mandatory charges; Room views and condition vary

• Location: In Ontario, Canada, with enclosed casino and concert access and walkable sightseeing nearby.

• Rooms: Comfortable rooms and larger suites; choose the precise Falls-view category, and expect some dated furnishings.

• Cleanliness: Generally a strength across Expedia and Booking.com, despite individual housekeeping complaints.

• Service: Many guests praise helpful staff, but check-in delays and inconsistent problem handling recur.

• Amenities: Falls-view infinity pool, gym and several restaurants; pool reservations required, with weekend-only family-pool hours currently listed.

• Fees and surprises: Paid parking, mandatory marketing charges and accommodation tax; in-room Wi-Fi is complimentary for Hilton Honors members.
