A practical budget base near central Nairobi, but expect basic rooms rather than polish.
Rabi is a no-frills 3-star budget hotel on Limuru Road in Ngara, best considered for a short, practical stay near central Nairobi. We'd shortlist it for travelers who prioritize the essentials over style: private bathrooms, an on-site restaurant and bar, and straightforward accommodation. Guest feedback on ReadyToTrip includes praise for affordability, location and clean bedding, though room quality is described as merely okay by another guest.
The evidence is limited: Expedia has only three reviews, mostly old, and Tripadvisor has none. That makes consistent room condition and service harder to judge. Expedia also lists no elevator. The hotel's own website now advertises free basement parking and M-PESA payments, contradicting some older listings and feedback; confirm arrangements directly. We'd skip it for a polished leisure stay or if step-free access is essential.
Axel's opinion, from the hotel's website and recent guest reviews, scored for what the hotel is. Sources: Hotel website · readytotrip.com · Expedia · Booking.com · Tripadvisor. Reviewed Oct 10, 2026.
