Hotels in MoabAn independent, family-friendly 3-star on Moab’s northern edge
8.8/10
A strong Arches base with friendly service and more family amenities than expected.
Aarchway Inn is an independent, family-friendly 3-star on Moab’s northern edge, and a strong pick for travelers putting park access ahead of downtown atmosphere. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests consistently praise clean, comfortable rooms, helpful staff and the included hot breakfast; Booking.com’s ratings reinforce that picture. The pool, hot tub, playground and roomy grounds give families useful downtime between hikes, while trailer parking suits road-trippers hauling outdoor toys.
The trade-offs are straightforward: traditional rather than stylish rooms, a short drive into central Moab, and some reports of noise from neighboring rooms, upstairs guests or dogs. Light sleepers should request an upper-floor room. Expedia lists the outdoor pool as closed December 1–March 1, and dogs incur an extra fee. We’d skip it for a walk-everywhere town stay, but choose it for a practical, comfortable park trip.
