Axel's take: 8.7/10

A dependable suburban Hilton with standout staff and useful extras. a full-service 4-star business hotel in suburban Bloomington, scored for what it is.

This full-service 4-star in suburban Bloomington is a strong pick for business trips, shopping weekends and nights before a flight. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms and genuinely helpful staff. Free covered parking, airport and Mall of America shuttles, an indoor pool and on-site dining make it more convenient than a basic overnight stop. We'd choose it for practical comfort rather than a special-occasion atmosphere.

The trade-offs are mostly logistical: this is a suburban highway location, not a walk-out-the-door Minneapolis sightseeing base, and breakfast costs extra unless your booking includes it. Executive-lounge feedback is mixed, so don't book solely for that perk. Confirm airport-shuttle arrangements directly: Hilton publishes limited operating hours, and booking sites show conflicting schedules. Skip it if downtown walkability or round-the-clock airport transfers are essential.

• Best for: business travelers; airport overnights; shopping weekends with a car

• Watch out for: suburban rather than downtown location; breakfast usually costs extra; confirm shuttle hours before booking

• Location: Convenient for I-494 and Bloomington business trips; downtown sightseeing requires transportation.

• Rooms: Comfortable and generally well maintained, with strong recent feedback on beds and sleep quality.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent Expedia and Tripadvisor reviews.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring highlight, though Booking.com's overall feedback is less enthusiastic.

• Amenities: Indoor pool, hot tub, gym, steakhouse, lounge, EV charging and complimentary covered parking.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast and pets carry extra charges; Hilton lists the free airport shuttle as operating daily, 4am–11pm.
