#9 of 9 hotels in Stazione Centrale by Axel's take. Stazione Centrale is #8 of 11 places to stay in Milan. The best hotels in Stazione Centrale, ranked · Where to stay in Milan
Axel's take: 7.9/10
A handy station base with clean rooms, but cooling and noise need checking. a modern, practical 3-star beside Milano Centrale, scored for what it is.
Spice Hotel Milano is a modern, practical 3-star a few minutes’ walk from Milano Centrale. It’s a strong pick for a short stay built around trains, airport connections or day trips rather than lingering at the hotel. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the cleanliness, convenient location and helpful staff; recent Tripadvisor reviews largely echo those strengths. The industrial-style rooms deliver the basics, and breakfast generally earns good feedback.
The compromises are room size, limited storage and street noise. Several guests also report centrally controlled or seasonally unavailable air-conditioning, so confirm cooling arrangements if you sleep hot, especially outside summer. Breakfast costs extra unless included in your booking, and parking is off-site. We’d choose it for transport convenience, but skip it for a quiet, spacious retreat or a doorstep location in Milan’s historic center.
-
Best for: rail travelers and airport stopovers; short city breaks; travelers planning day trips

-
Cleanliness: A consistent strength across booking sites, despite occasional reports of room odors.

-
