7.3/10
A practical downtown base with generous space, but noise and upkeep need weighing.
Uvas is a simple 3-star apartment hotel near Plaza Independencia, best chosen for space and location rather than polished facilities. Its equipped kitchens and separate living areas make it a practical pick for families and self-catering travelers. Recent Expedia guests and Booking.com reviews displayed on Planet of Hotels repeatedly praise the central setting, roomy apartments and helpful staff.
The trade-offs are real: street traffic and the neighboring bakery can disturb sleep, and several guests describe worn bathrooms, furnishings or appliances. Cleanliness gets plenty of praise, but some recent reports flag lapses; hot water also draws occasional complaints. The official site lists limited reception hours, not round-the-clock staffing, so arrange access before arriving late. Breakfast and nearby parking cost extra. We'd skip it if quiet nights and consistently fresh interiors matter most.
